Real Estate Specialist

This job will be located at our headquarters in Itasca, Illinois.

Job Description:

Real Estate Specialists will have the opportunity to shape our employees’ in-office experience. Our goal is to provide Keyence members with productive, effective, and enticing spaces to work from. This is achieved through creative design, knowledge of the latest trends, understanding of our products and what can be done to support them, and consistent maintenance to ensure quality and functionality. Rarely are two days the same: new challenges, tasks, and projects will require candidates to use problem solving and analytical skills frequently. Members of the team are encouraged to always keep an eye open for ways to improve our processes and employee experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Office/facilities maintenance – support for local headquarters location, warehouse, and 40 sales offices throughout US
• Includes: Coordination and scheduling of repairs, cleaning, resolution of any issues in the work environment.
• Project management – office relocations/expansions/reconfiguration.
• Coordinate office development with local employees, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Create reports and documentation of projects.
• Keep clear communication with management and stakeholders.
• Proactively identify areas to improve the project process.
• Travel required up to 20% of your time.
• Proactive walkthroughs to ensure quality of the facilities.
• Generate new ideas and improvements for the department.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Four-year college degree
• Experience with project management is a plus

• Analytical and complex problem-solving skills
• High degree of attention to detail
• Ability to organize for on-time completion of multiple tasks and projects
• Proficient business writing and oral communication skills
• Ability to prioritize
• Ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships
• Knowledge of Microsoft office especially Excel and Outlook
